Having a child in 1782 is stretching Elizabeth's span of fecundity to the limit. Is Comfort's birthyear really correct? Is she really their daughter?
If Elizabeth's father was Nicholas Z. CORBIN, it's odd that they named a son, "Elijah Corbin DEDMAN."
Some secondary sources show their son, William, as William Lane CORBIN (b. 1760), who married 13 Mar 1783 in South Reading, Middlesex Co., MA, to Mary GREEN (1757- ); based on geography, such a connection seems highly unlikely.
