Marty Dameron, age 83, of Oak Hill, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2005, at Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. He was born November 25, 1922, in Omar, West Virginia, to the late Dennie and Lola (Russell) Dameron. Mr. Dameron was formerly employed by Carlyle Tile Co. and then a carpenter for years. He is survived by sons, Dennis (Lisa) Dameron of Oak Hill, Ohio; and John (Doris) Dameron of Buffalo, WV; and James (Betty) Dameron of Ind; and one daughter, Dottie Bennet of Coal Grove, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by wife Ella, one granddaughter Rosa, and a sister Eloise Dickess.
Funeral Service will be Saturday December 17, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at Kuhner-Lewis Funeral Home in Oak Hill, Ohio. Rev. George Mason officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery... submitted by James Dameron on 06/17/2011
