2.  LDS.  Family Search: Census Records: 1880 United States (online at FamilySearch.org):  unfortunately, we do not find John Porter CUPP married and living with his first wife, so we've lost our best change at identifying her.  There are two unmarried John CUPPs in the 1880 census who were born in Pennsylvania in 1856, one in Scott Co., IA, and one in Ogle Co., IL, either or neither of whom may be our subject.
