1830 PA Somerset Co. Elklick Twp. p. 31 Ln. 6 Cup Jacob 000 010 - 000 100
These data indicate:
No. & Sex  Age Class Therefore Born Individuals Inferred
1 male 20-29 1800-1810 = Jacob (b. 1808/9)
1 female 15-19 1810-1815 = Wife-1
Jacob is the only CUPP (or var.) in Elk Lick Twp.  The list is roughly alphabetical, so no neighborhood reconstruction is possible.

Lewis Smith  5 M         Indiana
This record is hard to figure, beyond Mathew being Jacob's son from his previous marriage.  The SMITH children are probably Barbara's from her previous marriage.  Ethalwile(?) and Hiram may Jacob's niece and nephew, but they cannot be his children because neither appeared in his household in any earlier census.

It's odd that Levi isn't labeled.  Matilda is obviously Barbara's child from a former marriage, but it's odd that she would be surnamed "Cupp" unless Barbara's first husband was also a CUPP.
