George Wesley CUPP
Sarah DINKLE
Husband:  George Wesley CUPP
Birth:  1800, PA
Death:  9 Aug 1855, Rockingham Co., VA
Occupation:  miller
Father:  Johann Jacob KOPF/CUPP

Secondary sources have George Wesley CUPP the son of Jacob CUPP & Eve HUDDLE.  The Jacob CUPP who married Eve HUDDLE was a widower living in Montgomery Co., VA, in the 1850 census, so he obviously cannot be the Jacob CUPP living with our subject in the 1850 census of Rockingham Co.

Marriage:

1 female 20-29 1800-1810 = Sarah
The two teenage males are too old to be our subjects' children.  Is Sarah in the wrong age class, or is her age wrong in the 1850 census?

3 persons engaged in agriculture
The elderly man in the household must be George's father, who is also living with him in the 1850 census.  Again, is Sarah in the wrong age class, or is her age wrong in the 1850 census?

Jacob is surely George's father.  Jacob was definitely born in PA, and it would make more sense if George were, too.  A Pennsylvania birthplace is supported by George's death record.
