John E. CORBIN
Permelia MARTIN |
WARNING: Thanks to the LDS Ancestral File, our subject is being confused with the John CORBIN who was son of Nathan CORBIN & Sophia ENLOWS. The other John is the one who died 28 May 1896 (not 1892) and is buried in the Laurel Cemetery, Clermont Co., OH. These are quite obviously two different men. |
Husband: John E. CORBIN
Birth: 13 Dec 1810, VA? OH? Death: 1 Nov 1895, presumably in Montgomery Co., IN Disposition: buried Odd Fellows Cemetery, Darlington, Montgomery Co., IN Father: Nicholas CORBIN Mother: Nancy Ann ENLOWS John's parents were born in MD, then moved to Clermont Co., OH, by at least 1820 [the 1810 OH census was lost]. I'm not aware that they made a stop in VA (possibly in what is now WV) along the way, but I suppose it's possible. In any case, John mostly gave VA as his birthplace, though he once gave it as OH. |
Marriage: 2 Nov 1834, Clermont Co., OH |
Wife: Permelia MARTIN
Birth: 1815 Death: 1 Jun 1861 Disposition: buried Odd Fellows Cemetery, Darlington, Montgomery Co., IN As they were married in OH, it's unlikely Permelia was born in IN, but was she really born in SC? |

Everything I have is online at this web site. I have no further information, so please don't write asking me if I do.
On the other hand, if you feel I've made an error, please don't hesitate to notify me, but in which case, There are over 18,000 pages on this web site, and I simply don't remember every page, much less every person on every page. |
