Wife:  Winifred / Winefride "Kitty" PADGETT / PADGET / PAGET / PAGETT

Children unproven — born in Charles Co., MD:
WARNINGI've yet to find anything to prove the identities of our subject's children; the ones listed below are those asserted by secondary sources
1.  Henry CARRICO, b. ca. 1760s
2.  William CARRICO, b. 1770-74
3.  Cornelius CARRICO, b. 1771/2

Nathaniel CARRICO, b. 1782/3; m1. Anne O'BRYAN; m2. Anne MATTINGLY

Bartholomew Carrico's Tavern in Charles Co., about 3 miles from below Piscataway.
Piscataway is in Prince Georges County, in the southeast corner, not far from the county line with Charles County.  The census agrees that, in 1790, Barton was in Prince Georges County.

p. 234 Evidently Winefride was known as "Kitty," as she signed a deed thus in Nelson
p. 235 County, Kentucky, on June 20, 1823.  The deed bore the notation "widow of Bartholomew Carrico."131

Why the "marriage record" doesn't contain the date of the marriage or the surname of the bride is a bit of a mystery.
