7. Anon. Thursday, 10 Mar 1960. "Harry E. Carr Dies in Florida; Funeral in Indianapolis." The Monon News (Monon, White Co., IN), p. 1 (online at news.google.com):

Harry E Carr, 66, died Tuesday night at his winter home in Florida. His daughter, Mrs Vernon Stellhorn of Monon, received word of the death early yesterday moring in a telephone message from her mother.
The body is being brought to Indianapolis. Funeral arrangements are pending.
Mr Carr was born at Seymour, Ind, put in 30 years with the Monon Route as a fireman and engineer before his retirement two years ago. He and his wife had made their home in Indianapolis until that time. For a number of years they had been spending the summers at cottage on Lake Shafer and since hie retirement had spent their winters in Florida.
Surviving with the wife, the former Freida Moews, and the daughter, Mrs Ruth Stellhorn of Monon, are three sons Harry, jr, of Indianapolis, Louis of Columbus, Ind, & Edmond, with the Air Force in England, and nine grandchildren. A son Arnold is deceased.
