OH) is married and living in Cleveland (Ward 5), Cuyahoga Co., OH (p. 123A), but I can't find Alery, Edna, or Dale.  I wouldn't conclude that all three are deceased because I've run across some mentions of "Mrs. Edna CARMINE" in post-1930 items in Marion Co., OH, newspapers (online at Ancestry.com).  I haven't taken the time to determine if this is Edna (HOGAN) CARMINE, but it certainly could be.

9.  J. Wilbur Jacoby.  1907.  History of Marion County, Ohio, and Representative Citizens.  Biographical Publ. Co., Chicago, IL (Broderbund CD-450; also online at Heritage Pursuit):

A.N. CARMINE, superintendent of the public schools at Green Camp, has been engaged in educational work here for the past five years.  He was born at Green Camp, on the 10th of February, 1879, and is a son of J.P. and Maggie (Snavely) Carmine. Mr. Carmine was reared and educated at Green Camp, entering the High School in 1895, and graduating in April, 1898.  He was permitted to begin teaching in District No. 6 a few days before graduation, and continued to teach there for the three following years.  He then taught one year at Centerville, in Prospect township, and in 1901 he became teacher of the grammar school in Green Camp.  In the fall of 1905 he was appointed superintendent of the public schools.  These leading citizens constitute the Board of Education of the village:  Thomas McNeal, president; R.W. Johnston, clerk; and Robert Pettey, James Dennison and Herman Flach.  Mr. Carmine has two efficient teachers to assist him in his work, Miss Bessie Simons having charge of the intermediate department, and Mrs. Libbie Dowell, of the primary department.  On August 24, 1899, Mr. Carmine was married to Edna Hogan, a daughter of Thomas Hogan, of Green Camp township, and they have one child, Ivan.  Mr. Carmine is a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.

Was "Snavely" Maggie's middle name, as in her mother's maiden name?
