Her name is definitely "Jennie Strub" and her age is definitely 16, but surely she is Anna.  As a servant in the household, the informant may not have known her well, and I've seen worse errors in the census, especially with regard to boarders.  Otherwise, I cannot account for Anna in 1870, nor can I account for Jennie other than in this one record.  There were no other STRAUB/STROUB/STRUB/etc. families in DeKalb County at this time, except for Anna and her presumed sibllings, and there were no other STRAUB/STROUB/STRUB/etc. families from Canada in all of Illinois

There are over 18,000 pages on this web site, and I simply don't remember every page, much less every person on every page.

"The Cloud" is double-speak for "dumb terminal on a main frame." Been there; done that. Never again.
