David H. CHENEY
Nancy Ann ZETA
WARNING:  it's hard to reconcile the census records with each other or with the secondary sources, so consider this page tentative.
Husband:  David H. CHENEY
Birth:  21 Oct 1814, NY
Death:  1 May 1891, Machias, Cattaraugus Co., NY
Disposition:  buried Maple Grove Cemetery, Cattaraugus Co., NY
Father:  Elisha CHENEY
Mother:  Phoebe HENDEE
Marriage:
Residence in 1840:  LeRoy [now Pavilion], Genesee Co., NY
Residence in 1850:  Hume, Allegany Co., NY

Wife:  Nancy Ann ZETA
Birth:  28 Jan 1811

Given the age difference between David & Nancy and the extra chilren in the 1840 census, it seems likely that Nancy had a prior marriage and that those older children are hers from that marriage, which raises the question whether ZETA is her maiden name or her married name.
