Most sources give Mary a birthyear of 1786, but Epps & Sukie were too young to have had a child in 1786. It seems the 1786 date is due to "age inflation" because not only is Mary only 46 in the 1850 census, she was married in 1819, which would have been a very late marriage for a female born in 1786. As a widow in 1850, her age of 46 is probably deflated, so the truth is probably somewhere in between.
