Germany) & Mary (æ 36, b. Germany), plus siblings. I cannot find Frances STRAUB in the U.S., and I really looked. 2b. 1881 Census of Canada (online at FamilySearch.org): The only individual in the census who could be our subject's wife is a Francis (sic) STRAUB (æ 19, b. Ontario, female, Catholic) living in Woolwich, Waterloo North, ON, Canada (p. 17), with her parents, Frances (sic) STRAUB (æ 57, b. Germany, male, Catholic) & Mary (æ 50, b. Germany, Catholic), plus 12 siblings.
