The following officers were elected at the reunion of the Corbin family, yesterday, at Garfield park.  D.W. Benedict, of Waldo, president; Walter Smith, of Waldo, vice president; Miss Ruth Corbin, of Waldo, secretary and treasurer; Joshua Corbin, of LaRue, was chosen music director.  The next reunion will be held at Garfield park, the third Thursday in August, 1916.

Waldo, Aug 20. — [Special.] — The fifteenth annual reunion of the Corbin family was held Sunday, at the home of the children of the late William Corbin and was attended by the following relatives and friends:  Mrs. Max Fossler and daughter, Maxine, J.H. Corbin, Mrs. D. Catanese(?), A.E. Corbin, of Columbus; Mr. and Mrs. Lawhead and son, Carl, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Corbin and family, Miss Carrie Welch and Ralph Corbin, of Marion; Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Corbin and daughter, Genevieve, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Corbin and son, Jack, Mr. and Mrs. George Imbody and daughter, Vivian, and Frank Corbin, of Agosta; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Wilson and family of Magnetic Springs [Union Co.]; Elmer Bensley, of Prospect; Mildred Bently, Mrs. Ruth Miley and family, Mr.and Mrs. Milton Cope, Bennet Corbin, LaVern Corbin, Naomi Corbin, Mrs. James Plotner, William Bensley, Mr. and Mrs. N. Mrs. Thomas Wyatt and Daughter, Jesse, Thursday evening entertained the Woman's Adult Bible class and teacher, Mrs. D.W. Benedict, at their home south of town.  Beside eighteen members, the following visitors were present:  Miss Besse C. Straub, of Washington; Miss Grace Munson, of Colorado Springs; Miss Stella Henry, of near Ashley; and Mary Jane Houseworth, from Marion.  Miss Straub, who was a guest of her sister, Mrs. Benedict, is a member of the American-German claims commission and has just returned from a trip through Europe.  After the class devotionals a season of contests were enjoyed, the honors going to Miss Vinne Selanders and Mrs. Clyde Randall.
