This Indenture made the seventh day of June, In the Year of our Lord, One thousand seven hundred and Ninety two.  Between Peter Stroup of Penns township in the county of Northumberland in the state of Pennsylvania Yeoman of the one part. And Andrew Stroup of the said township In the county & State afores^d (Being one of the sons of the said Peter Stroup) Yeoman of the other part, Witnesseth that the said Peter Stroup as well for and in Consideration of the Natural love & affection, which he the said Peter Stroup hath and beareth unto the said Andrew Stroup as also for & in Consideration of the sum of Nine hundred pounds lawfull money of the state of Pennsylvania to him in hand paid by the said Andrew Stroup at & before the Execution of these presents the receipt & payment whereof he the said Grantor doth hereby acknowledge that granted bargained sold released ensscoffed & Confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell release ensscoff and Confirm unto the said Andrew Stroup his Heirs & Assigns all that Certain Messuage Tenement & tract or parcel of land situate in Penns Township aforesaid Budded & bounded as follows Viz.

Begining at a black Oak thence by Land of Jacob Meyers south sixty degrees West One Hundred & eighty two perches to a post, thence by the same & land of Stophel Meyers North thirty three degrees West two hundred & thirty two perches and a half to a White Oak thence by said Stophel Meyer's land and land of Jacob Yoder North sixty nnie degrees East One hundred and eighty five perches to a post, thence by land Supposed to be Vacant south fifty five degrees East eight perches to a white Oak, And thence by lands of Andrew Morr & William McMurrey south thirty two degrees east one hundred & Ninety six perches to the beginning Containing Two hundred & thirty five acres & one hundred & twelve perches & allowance for Roads &ac.

It being that same Tract of land Called Halbourn which the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by letters patent, Bearing date the thirtieth day of May last past granted unto the said Peter Stroup as by the same Patent Inrolled in the rolls Office for the state of Pennsylvania in Patent Book N^o 19, page 462, recourse being there had may more fully and at large appear _ Together also with all & Singular the Ways, Woods, Waters, Watercourses, Buildings imrovements rights liberties priviledges hereditaments & Appurtenances Whatsoever to the Same Belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversions and remainders rents issues and profits thereof and of every part & parcel thereof, To have and to hold the said described plantation tract of land & premises hereby granted or intended so to be with the Appurtenances to the said Andrew Stroup his heirs & Assigns, To the only proper Use benefit and Echoof of him the said Andrew Stroup his heirs & Assigns forever; And the said Peter Stroup, for himself his heirs Executors Administrators doth covenant promise & grant to and with the said Andrew Stroup his heirs & assigns, That the the said Peter Stroup his heirs [???] admistrators the tract and Parcel of land hereditaments & premises hereby granted or intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said Andrew Stroup his heirs & assigns.  Against him the said Peter Stroup his heirs and assigns and each & every of them, and against their and each & every of their heirs & assigns, and all and every other person & persons whatsoever shall & will Warrant and forever Defend by
