The Murderers
Out of Jail!

AND ARRAIGNED BEFORE
THE COURT TO-DAY.

THE COURT-ROOM CROWDED
TO OVERFLOWING.

THEY PLEAD "NOT GUILTY"
TO THE CHARGE OF
MURDER.

THE TRIAL SET FOR MARCH 22d.

Great crowds gathered around and in the court house, about 11 o'clock this morning, to see the two prisoners, Young and Houseworth, arraigned before the Court.  Some excitement prevailed, but the prisoners conducted themselves very coolly.  The indictment of "murder in the first degree" found by the Grand Jury on Friday last, Feb. 27th, was read to them; and the Court said to Young:  "Have you had a copy of the grand jury's findings?"  Young replied that he had.
The Court — Have you counsel?
  Young — I have.
The Court — Are you guilty? or not guilty?
  Young — Not guilty.
The Court then put the same questions to Houseworth, who answered the same as Young had, except as to having counsel, when it was ordered that he be sworn.
The Court — Have you counsel?
  Houseworth — No.
The Court — Have you property?
Houseworth — No property at all, except two old plug horses, that are not worth much.
The Court — Have you no friends to aid you?
  Houseworth — No sir.
The Court then appointed M.V. Payne and H.T. Van Fleet as his attorneys and set the trial for the 22d of this month.
Captain Scofield then arose in behalf of the prisoner, Young, saying:  "We can't be ready by that time.
The Court then said:  "Unless you can show proper reasons to the contrary, the trial will proceed on the day set.
The prisoners were then remanded to jail, and the court adjourned until after dinner, when the Casson—Kraner case was resumed.  This case is attracting considerable attention and affording some amusement, and up to going to press the witnesses were still swearing, and more outside willing to swear.

"The Cloud" is double-speak for "dumb terminal on a main frame." Been there; done that. Never again.

The IT guys on the big iron hated the Personal Computer because it gave users freedom and power; now they've conned you into being back under their control.
