Comments and Corrections:

^AHelen M.B. Prescott. [nd] Manuscript. Library of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC. Prescott's manuscript corrects errors in her 1902 chart (information courtesy of Kyle VanLandingham.):

Deborah HERRICK is the wife of "Walter BLUNT, in Revolutionary War," that is, the son of Ambrose and Joanna (CLARKE) BLUNT, not the wife of Walter BLUNT, son of Elisha and Sally BLUNT as shown on the printed chart.

To reduce the potential for perpetuating this error, I have moved Deborah and her descendants to their proper place on this transcription. Note that some versions of this chart being circulated (e.g., the one being sold by Higginson Books) incorporate this correction.

^BThe name "HENRY FITCH" is at the bottom center of this chart and is the only name in all-caps. If Henry Fitch BLUNT was the one who commissioned the chart, as appears to be the case, I don't imagine he was a happy camper to find out that, as a descendant of Deborah HERRICK, his descendency on the chart was wrong!
