Benjamin CORBIN, Sr., is brother-in-law of the testator (husband of Sarah SIAS, testator's sister). Nicodemus, Elijah, and Benjamin CORBIN, Jr., are sons of Benjamin CORBIN, Sr., that is, nephews of the testator. |

In the name of God Amen. I Benjamin Siar of Baltimore
County being sick and weak in body but of sound mind memory and understanding
do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, to
wit I will and bequeath to my dear beloved wife
Susanna Syar one
third part of all my real estate during her natural life and at her decease
to be equally divided between my six children that is to say Delilah
Syar Beal Syar Micajah Syar and Matilda Syar Joshua Syar and
Benjamin Syar Jun, also my will and desire is that there be sold
one of my horse creatures that is my black mare for the helping to discharge
my just debts and all the remainder part of my personal estate I will to
be left on the place where I now live for the helping to raise and maintain
my above named children. I all also will that two small tracts of
my land or one tract by the name of Anna Portion Enlarged be sold and part
of _____ Enlargement containing about sixty acres also a part of tract
of land called Bens Veration and the money raised by the sale of the above
named tracts of land together with all the grain of every kind that can
be spared after supporting of the above described family that is now on
hand that is to pay wheat _____ and corn be sold and all the money together
with three bonds as obligations in writing from a certain
Carrod Long
to me for the payment fifty pounds each the first due on the first day
of May 1802 the second on the first day of May 1803 and th third on the
first day of May 1804 and the money raised from and singular of these after
all my funeral expenses together with all just and lawfully debts be paid
my will and desire is that the money so left be equally divided between
my six before named children at the time of their coming to lawful age
and at the time of the youngest child coming to lawful age I will that
all the so remaning part of my land be sold and the money arising from
such sale to be equally divided among my before mentioned children and
I hereby nominate and appoint that if my beloved wife Susanna Syar
should see cause to marry before the youngest child comes to lawful age
that all the male children be bound to trades at the age of sixteen years
and thereby nominate and appoint Susanna Syar and Elijah Carbin
Executors of this my last will and testament with full power to convey
and make over all my land as directed in this my last will to be sold also
to convey and make over a tract of land by the name of Anns Portion Enlarged
and a part of Bens Veration to the amount one hundred and fifty acres of
land sold by me to a certain Conrad Long and I hereby revoke all
former wills by me made hereto fore. In Witness whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and seal this second day of February in the year of our lord
one thousand eight hundred and two.
