Date signed: 5 Feb 1694 Date proved: 6 Jun 1698
Bequests: Wife, Dorothy, Executrix: 100 acres called Gate's Hope, 60 acres called Gate's Purchase, 170 acres called New Branford, and a 20 acre portion of Maidstone, which was purchased from Thomas Hunt. Sons John and Robert equally and heirs: two lots at Newport Town, 275 acres called St. Michael's, 200 acres called St. Mary's, and 193 acres called Gate's Swamp. Daughter Catherine and heirs: 200 acres, part of Poppleton, near Patuxent River. Daughter Susannah and heirs: residue of Branford. Daughter Ann and heirs: 80 acres, part of Maidstone. Son Joseph: Gate's Hope, Gate's Purchase, New Branford, and Maidstone aforesaid at decease of mother.
Witnesses: Richard Edelen, James Connell, James Haggon.
