Children: |
— born in Livingston Co., KY:
1. Margaret "Peggy" WYATT, b. 23 Apr 1802; d. aft. 1850; unmarried as of 1850 2. Ann WYATT, b. 1803/4 3. Mary "Polly" WYATT; b. 1805 4. Amanda WYATT, b. 1807/8 5. William WYATT, b. 1811/2 — born in Caldwell Co., KY:
In the 1850 Census, daughters Margaret, Ann, and Mary give their birth location as Caldwell Co. — although Caldwell Co. did not exist at the time of their births — while daughter Amanda gives her birthplace in the 1850 Census as Livingston Co. Amanda's birthplace is in keeping with the apparent location of the family in Livingston Co., based on the 1810 Census — after the formation of Caldwell Co. in 1809. I have no explanation for the anomaly. Either the girls were mistaken about their birthplace (it happens) or the family moved to Caldwell Co. in 1801/2, then back to Livingston Co. again in 1807/8, then back to Caldwell Co. again in 1813, which I find unlikely. Or there is the possibility that Mary was not birthing her children at their home in Livingston Co., but was, when her time approached, going to stay with someone else (her mother?), in a location that later became Caldwell Co. Hard to say... |

Everything I have is online at this web site. I have no further information, so please don't write asking me if I do.
On the other hand, if you feel I've made an error, please don't hesitate to notify me, but in which case, There are over 18,000 pages on this web site, and I simply don't remember every page, much less every person on every page. |
