*Tryon Co. no longer exists though it once encompassed 16 counties in North and South Carolina.  Until the location of "Rudisals Creek" is determined, it's uncertain which county the land is in today.  The South Fork of the Catawba River is located today in Gaston Co., NC, which was formed from Lincoln Co. in 1846, and that may be the location of Rudisal's Creek.

Gardiner in 1958.  The current publisher has obscured the history of this work; a letter to them asking them to clarify its origin got no response.]

William WYETT m. Dorothy MC INTOSH or MC INTURFF, 11 May 1787, Shenandoah, Virginia
Their daughter was married in AR in 1810, so they do not appear to be the William & Dorothy WYATT of Christian Co., KY.  See "Wyatt Haven" web site [link died]. Yet, this couple is just the right age to be the William and Dorothy we are looking for.
