1. Marriage Record: 2a. Census Index: U.S. Selected Counties, 1800 (Broderbund CD-312): Godfrey and Jacob (Daniel's father and brother, respectively) were found in Beaver Twp., Northumberland Co., PA, but Daniel is not indexed on the CD. In the enumeration of Northumberland Co., PA, four records from the tail end of the Mohantango Township list occur at the top of the first page of the Beaver Township list, on p. 836. Apparently, when the transcriber indexed the records, he/she overlooked those four records, one of which was "Wommer Danl." Needless to say, finding him wasted just a "teensy bit" of my time. <shrieeeek!> 2b. 1800 Census Index and Digital Images (online at Ancestry.com; Image #6 of 6; extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):

On the other hand, if you feel I've made an error, please don't hesitate to notify me, but in which case, There are over 18,000 pages on this web site, and I simply don't remember every page, much less every person on every page. |
"The Cloud" is double-speak for "dumb terminal
