I have no explanation for why Mary has 10,000 worth of real estate(!), except to assume it's enumerator error.  I would also assume that the figure belongs on the next column down, for the head-of-household there, except that the next household is that of a black farm laborer.

8.  Email from Ann REYNOLDS (13 Jul 2008):
I am perfectly aware of what the 1850 Census record shows on the page linked below, but I assure you that the child of Patterson & Sally Ann Mimms Wims was NOT "George S Wims, m, age 7"!  http://dgmweb.net/FGS/W/WimsPattersonA-SarahAnnMimms.html

I have seen the same record, but know it to be completely false! That child named George was actually a GIRL named "George ANN Wims"  - She was my gg'gm, who m. Joshua Johnson; their daughter Mary Wims Johnson (Called "Madje" as an adult, short for "Mary J") m. Thomas James McReynolds and had four sons.

I thought you would like to know, since there is no way you could possibly check out any corroborating data for every listing in your data base.
