Comment:  Nicodemus is a very rare name for a THOMPSON, which should make finding out about one easy, but in this case, I have so far found extremely little to go on.  There is a Nicodemus THOMPSON, son of William & Charity (MURRAY) THOMPSON of Georgia, who is about the right age to be our subject, but I have found nothing to indicate that any of these Georgia THOMPSONs was in Kentucky, much less Christian Co.  However, there was a Nicodemus THOMPSON on the 1800 tax rolls of Warren Co., KY.  Given the rarity of the given name and the proximity of time and place, it seems a likely possibility that the Nicodemus THOMPSON in Warren Co. in 1800 is the one who showed up in Christian Co. in 1803.
