It is said John's will indicates one son and five daughters still living, plus grandson William THOMPSON (s/o Archibald) and granddaughter Delaney WEST. Based on the latter, it appears our subject had a daughter who had married a WEST and was deceased by 1839. Or perhaps one of the other daughters had remarried and died before 1839.
