33 74 12 Nov 1810 The viewers of the road from Christian Carpenter to the Sinks of Little River this day made their report and approved by the Court which is ordered to be recorded and filed and the road established accordingly and John Thompson came into Court and made oath that Jos. Shanklin, John Thompson, Peter Thompson and Henry Burgess came before him and acknowledged that they were willing the said road might run through their lands and it is ordered that John Burgess be appointed surveyor from his house to the West Fork and John Thompson from the West Fork to Christian Carpenters and the folowing hands is alloted to said Thompson to wit: William Wallace 7 hands, Henry and Peter Carpenter, John Mann, Charles Miller, _____ Tanner, Peter Thompson, Andrew Thompson, John Downey and Robert Downey, Thomas Bryant, Robert Baker, Wm. Garten, Joseph Shanklin, Isaac Bean, Christian, John, and Peter Carpenter, Joseph Frasier 2 hands and that Nathaniel Davis appointed to allot the hands to John Burgess and report to the next court.
