Rachel's tombstone (located about 25 miles north of my house) says she died 10/30/1863 aged 77y1m23d, so her birth
date was 9/7/1786. She was born in Laurans County South Carolina.

Of their children, only Joshua (my great grandfather) was born in Perry County Illinois, the rest were born in Kentucky
(according to Perry Co IL census reports).
