WADSWORTH - Louise M. (Straub) Tannehill, 92, of Wadsworth, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004, at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital.

Memorial service will be today (Saturday) at 1 p.m. at Hilliard & Mullaney Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman Street, Wadsworth, where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service.  The Rev. David Brown will officiate.  Inurnment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to Trinity United Church of Christ or Hospice of Wadsworth-Rittman.

She was born in Wooster to Theodore and Lulu May (Haley) Straub.

She had resided in Wadsworth since 1946.  She attended The College of Wooster and was a bookkeeper at Raynorís Department Store and Curtis Menswear.

She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Chapter 102 Order of Eastern Star, Wadsworth Garden Club, Parmi Nous and Wadsworth Womanís Club.  She enjoyed playing bridge and golf and delivered for Meals on Wheels.

Surviving are children, Joan Holt and husband, Jack, of Medina, Ted and wife, Nancy, of Apple Valley, Lynn Riley and husband, Jim, Robert and wife, Joan, all of Wadsworth; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; twin sister, Blanche Halderman of Columbia, S.C.; and brother, Robert Straub of Decatur, Ala.

Her husband, John, a grandson, and a brother, Don Straub, died previously

Louise's mother's middle name was Gertrude, not May.  Louise's maternal grandmother had first name, "May," so it is probable that Louise is the one with middle name May.
