Mr. Straub was a graduate of Fordham University, Fordham University Law School and New York University Graduate School of Law. He was a former Deputy and Acting Superintendent of the New York State Insurance Department. He was Later a Second Vice-president of the New York Life Insurance Company. He was predeceased by his loving wife Mary Jane in 1973. Family will receive friends at the Lloyd Funeral Home, 214-43 39 Ave., Bayside. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 9:30 AM Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Port Washington. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday and Monday 2-5 and 7-9 PM.
