Several files at Ancestry's Public Member Trees, claim the John ROSE who married Mary STREET is our subject's son. I've yet to find any evidence to support the claim, which doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad connection, just that I'm still looking for something to document it.

Two files there make our subject son of John ROSE & Sarah BUCK, which would connect him to the Wethersfield, CT, ROSEs — an unlikely connection based on location. No one at WorldConnect does either. Nothing appears proven.
