Thomas H. PROCTOR
Rebecca STROUD
Husband:  Thomas H. PROCTER / PROCTOR
Marriage:  2 Jun 1836, Clark Co., AR
Wife:  Rebecca STROUD
Birth:  1809/10, Louisiana Territory, now Clark Co., AR
Death:  17 Feb 1876, Hollywood, Clark Co., AR
Occupation:  homemaker
Other Spouse:  m2. 27 Oct 1847, Clark Co., AR, Josiah F. LITTLE
Father:  Adam STROUD II
Mother:  Mary EASLEY

Secondary sources almost universally have Rebecca born in 1818 or 1819, but that year is not in agreement with any of her census records or her parents' census records.

Some secondary sources give her place of death as "Hollywood, Broward, Florida."  Such a location is highly unlikely.  This error is almost certainly due to a lack of awareness that there was a Hollywood in Clark Co., AR, which is now part of Arkadelphia.

Children:
apparently none
Keywords for search engines:  genealogy; USA, US, United States, Arkansas

These data indicate:
No. & Sex Age Class Therefore Born Individuals Inferred
1 male 4 or under 1835-1840 = John CHANDLER? (b. 1838/9)
1 male 10-14 1825-1830 = Archnard (b. 1825/6)
1 male 15-19 1820-1825 = Samuel (b. 1821/2)
2 males 20-29 1810-1820 = John (b. 1819)
= Isham (b. 1814/5)
1 male 50-59 1780-1790 = Adam
1 female 30-39 1800-1810 = Rebecca (STROUD) PROCTOR (b. 1809/10)
1 female 50-59 1780-1790 = Mary
There are no PROCTOR/PROCTER in Clark County, at all.  Adam & Mary STROUD are Rebecca's parents, and she appears to be back living with them.  Mary is too old to have a child this young, so is the little boy John CHANDLER

3.  1850 U.S. Census Every-Name-Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com, Image #5 of 6):  Greenville Twp., Clark Co., AR, Roll M432_25, p. 221B, 442/442, enumerated 21 Dec 1850, official enumeration date 1 Jun 1850 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):¤•
Josiah F Little 46 M   Farmer 50 Tennessee
Rebecca       " 40 F       Louisiana
Winfield Scott "  1 M       Arkansas
John Chandler 11 M       "
John CHANDLER shows up here in the 1850 census and in the 1860 census back with Rebecca's now widowed father, Adam STROUD.  If he's Rebecca's son, why is he surnamed CHANDLER?  I find no marriage record for a Rebecca PROCTOR to a CHANDLER between 1836 and 1847.  In any case, she married Josiah LITTLE as Rebecca PROCTOR, not CHANDLER.
