Secondary sources have James and Jane married in 1816; and, normally, I would not accept a secondary source over a primary one, but… Based on two grounds, it does appear Dodd has made a transcription error because 1) if James's birthdate is correct, he is much too young to be getting married in 1811 and 2) the marriage of Elizabeth and Henry in Virginia in 1815 clinches it that the family did not move to KY until after 1815.
