Bayern is the German name for Bavaria (Palatinate is the English name for Pfalz).  Although the Pfalz has historically (before 1945) been administrated by Bavaria, the towns of Maikammer and Alsterweiler are geographically in the Pfalz (now Rheinland-Pfalz), not in Bavaria.

Comments:     Renewed Vows date
To save space, the father's surnames were omitted (unless different from the child's).
Note: The original records were in Latin and were translated to German equivalents by the compiler, something that should not have been done.  Records should always be transcribed verbatim.  An example given by the compiler demonstrates the reason:  "Lena" is the pet form of Magdalena, not Carolina.  So if, as indicated, the compiler translated Lena to Carolina, the database includes that and an untold number of other mis-leading errors.

Apparently Margaret is already married for the first time, though I don't see a KRIEGSHÄUSLER on this list and the fact that they were married before immigrating explains why they renewed their vows after arriving.  But where is Clara?!  And who are "Fr" and Augustus?
