Historical Note:  Rebecca (TOWNE) NURSE was the most famous victim of the Salem Witch Trials, immortalized as the central character in Arthur Miller's play, The Crucible.  Two of Rebecca's sisters, Sarah (TOWNE) CLOYCE and Mary (TOWNE) EASTEY, were also accused, arrested, and jailed.  Sarah was never put on trial, so she survived, but Mary was also hanged.
