Name: Benjamin Needler  
son of Culverwell Needler, clerk assistant of the house of commons, and grandson of Rev. Benjamin Needler, a non-conformist minister, was bred to the bar in England.  He came to Virginia and became distinguished as a lawyer.  He was vestryman of Stratton Major parish, King and Queen county; clerk of the council, 1739, and died before 1741.  He married Alice, daughter of Gawin Corbin, of Virginia, and had at least one daughter, who married Rev. William Robinson, commissary to the bishop of London (Virginia Magazine, xiv, 26).
