Jesse & Mary SMITH are almost certainly Rosina's parents. Apparently Gideon's children prefer living with their grandparents to living with their stepfather. The big question is: who is Sarah? Gideon had a sister, Sarah, about the right age, but she got married and is enumerated with her husband in the census. Or, is the wrong Sarah attached to Gideon's parents?
