David was in Huron Co., OH, by 1819, so it's very unlikely he died back in MD. It appears that "Aray" is a phonetic misspelling of "Erie," as in Lake Erie. Before Erie Co. was formed in 1838, Huron Co. was on the shore of Lake Erie. It appears that David died in or near Lake Erie, Huron [now Erie] Co., OH. |
