1. (Maj.)
Gabriel LONG (Sr.), b. 23 Feb 1751
2. Evans LONG, d. 1819, m. Lucy APPERSON 3. Anderson LONG, b. 1762; m. Mildred SLAUGHTER 4. Nimrod LONG 5. Frances "Fanny" LONG, m. Daniel RICHARDSON 6. Margaret "Peggy" LONG, m. Robert KEY / KAY 7. Mary "Polly" LONG, m. John NASH 8. Nicholas LONG, d. bef. 29 Dec 1791 The above Nimrod LONG and the Nimrod LONG who is the son of Gabriel LONG, Sr., (nephew to the above Nimrod) are both said to have died 16 Jan 1816 and to have married Rosa FOSTER. Obviously, one of these entries is in error. Given that records show "Nemrod Long" married "Rosanna C. Foster" in Nelson Co., KY, in 1808, I'm inclined to believe that it is the younger Nimrod who married Rosa, not the above Nimrod, who would have been 40-60 years old in 1808. |

On the other hand, if you feel I've made an error, please don't hesitate to notify me, but in which case, There are over 18,000 pages on this web site, and I simply don't remember every page, much less every person on every page. |
