and Bedford Cos.):
1. LDS. Family Search: Internet Genealogy Service: IGI - International Genealogical Index (online at FamilySearch.org).
2. 1790 Census Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com): John not found, but Amos LONDON is living in Surry Co., NC (2-1-2-0-0), so the assertion that John has moved from NJ to NC is apparently correct. John could be living with them, but if so, then there are not enough females in the household, meaning either John's mother is deceased or his daughter, Sarah, was not born yet. It's possible John is living with his in-laws, if we only knew who they were. Unfortunately, the list was roughly alphabetized, so we get no clue based on proximity to Amos on the list. 3. 1800 Census Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com, Image #28 of 46 — list was roughly alphabetized; extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):

On the other hand, if you feel I've made an error, please don't hesitate to notify me, but in which case, There are over 18,000 pages on this web site, and I simply don't remember every page, much less every person on every page. |
