1.  Obituary of Mrs. Lizzie Molter in the Journal Standard (Freeport, IL), 9 Nov 1931 (courtesy of Dennis Stephens):
Mrs. Lizzie Molter, widow of Jacob J. Molter, passed away at 11:50 o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Deily, 15 E. Jefferson street.  Her death was due to the infirmities of old age.  Lizzie Schreiber was born Aug. 26, 1856, in Ridott township, and was a daughter of Jacob and Catherine Schreiber.  In October, 1877, she was united in marriage to John Light.  Two children were born to this union, both of whom survive.  They are Charles Light, of Rockford, and Mrs. Frank Deily, of Freeport.  Mr. Light died in 1880.  On Nov. 12, 1891, she was united to Jacob J. Molter, of Ridott, who preceded her in death Dec. 7, 1928.  Three children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Molter, all surviving. They are: Clarence, of Orangeville; Gilbert, of Ridott, and Mrs. Fred Schmitt, of Silver Creek township.  Mr. and Mrs. Molter resided in Ridott township until 1918, when they moved to Freeport.  Since the death of her husband, Mrs. Molter had been making her home with her children.  She leaves, besides her five children, two stepchildren, R.P. Molter and Mrs. Margaret Linder, both of Freeport, and nine grandchildren.  Mrs. Molter was a member of the Oak Avenue Evangelical church.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Deily home and at 1:30 at Oak Avenue church.  Interment will be made in Oakland.
