1.  Jordan R. Dodd, ed.  1993.  Kentucky Marriages: Early to 1850.  Liahona Research, Orem, UT (Broderbund CD-229):
Keeling, Peter Allender, Rachael Feb 26, 1835 Todd Co.
Could "Rachael" be a misreading of "Ruth J"?  Everything points to this being the same couple that shows up in the 1850 Census.  I can find no later record of a second marriage for Peter.

2.  1840

3.  1850 Census Index/Microfilm (online at GenealogyLibrary.com):  District No. 1, Todd Co., KY, p. 196A, 1/1, enumerated 24 Jul 1850 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen — record hard to read):
Peter Keeling 40 M Farmer 200 Virginia
Ruth J 38 F     Ky
Mary J 15 F     "
Thos C 12 M     "
William M 10 M     "
Nancy  5 F     "
James D? 9/12 M     "
I tried to turn "Ruth J" into "Rachel," but couldn't, though it's easy to see how with a difficult record such a misreading could occur.  I'm wondering if the marriage record isn't a misreading of "Rachel" for "Ruth J"?  Living next door to Solomon & Nancy WOLF, who are living next door to Isaac & Dilly WOLF, who are living next door to Catherine (GRUMBLEY) KEELING, Peter's widowed sister-in-law.

"The Cloud" is double-speak for "dumb terminal on a main frame." Been there; done that. Never again.
