Anna Maria Elisabetha DETRICH
Husband:  Georg Martin KAPP / CAPP / KOPP / COPP
Birth:  11 Nov 1759
Baptism:  Brickersville Lutheran Church, Warwick twp., Lancaster Co., PA
Death:  1830-40, presumably in Mount Joy Twp., Lancaster Co., PA
Father:  Johann Georg Veit KAPP
Mother:  Gertraudt FRIEDERICH
Marriage:
Wife:  Hanna/Anna Maria Elisabetha or Elizabeth Hannah Marie DETRICH
Birth:  1755-65
Death:  1810-20, presumably in Mount Joy Twp., Lancaster Co., PA
Children — born in Lancaster Co., PA; baptized Trinity Lutheran Church, Lancaster, Lancaster Co., PA:
1.  Georg/George KAPP, b. 3 Mar 1783; bap. 21 Apr 1783
2.  Daniel KAPP/CUPP, b. 30 May 1785; bap. 7 Sep 1785
3.  Elisabeth/Elizabeth KAPP/CUPP, b. 19 Oct 1787; bap. 25 Nov 1787
4.  Johannes KAPP, b. 31 May 1790; bap. 1 Aug 1790

They almost certainly had other children, but the number, ages, and genders are not consistent from census to census, which suggests there were some  individuals living with them who were not their children, so not much about their children can be securely deduced from the censuses.

*In the 1820 Census, the third column is age class 16-18 and the fourth column is age class 16-25; therefore, any individual in column three is duplicated in column four.  By subtracting the number in column three from the number in column four, you can create an age class "19-25."
Anna has apparently died.

It's hard to say, at this point, just who is living with Martin, probably some children and grandchildren, plus possibly some hired help.  Martin is listed one line above Mary CAPP (000 000 000 - 000 101 100).

10.  U.S. Geological Survey.  GNIS:  Geographic Names Information Service (online database).  The GNIS says, "Mount Joy," but clearly the locals historically knew it as Mountjoy.  Mount Joy is a mountain; Mountjoy is an English surname.  Does anyone know for what/whom the town and township were originally named?  In checking a topo map, there is no mountain anywhere near Mount Joy.  There is a Mt. Joy in Pennsylvania, but it's in Montgomery Co., nearer to Philadelphia than it is to Lancaster.
