Thomas HOSKINS
Mary __?__ |
WARNING: My attaching Elijah as a son to this couple is based on circumstantial evidence. Thomas (Jr.) leaves Stillwater for Washington Co., NY, then settles lastly in Lansing, MI. Elisha is first found in Orleans Co., NY, then settles permanently in Monroe Co., NY. Where the families come together is that we find an orphaned grandson of Thomas (Jr.) living with a son of Elijah in the 1880 census of Lansing, MI. There is surely some kind of connection between the families; and, given their ages and birthplaces, the simplest and most logical one is that Thomas (Jr.) and Elijah are brothers. Further evidence is definitely needed, however. |
Husband: Thomas HOSKINS
Birth: bef. 1775, outside U.S. In the 1870 census, Thomas (Jr.), indicates his father is foreign born, but his mother is not. |
