Jacob B. HOOVER
Eve MILLER
Husband:  Jacob B. HOOVER
Birth:  1802/3, PA

Parents said to be:
Father:  George HOOVER, Sr.
Mother:  Elizabeth __?__
but could they be?
Father:  Michael HOOVER
Mother:  Catharine __?__
I don't know which, if either, is correct.

Secondary sources (i.e., files at WorldConnect) have the Jacob who married Eve MILLER born in 1797, the son of George HOOVER (Sr.).  Those same sources show George as having a brother, Michael, with a son, Jacob, born in 1802.  The Jacob who married Eve was born in 1802, so… have the parents been switched or were the birth dates switched?

Marriage:  ca. 1835/6, presumably in Somerset Co., PA
Wife:  Eve MILLER
Birth:  1816/7, PA
Father:  Michael MILLER
Mother:  Mary __?__
