I ANN HARRISON of the North Farnham Parish in the County of Richmond, being sick & weak of body but of perfect mind & Memory Thanks be to God but calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appoiinted for all men once to do Doe Make This my last will & Testament inn manner and form following. That is to say. first & foremost I give my Soul to Almighty God who gave it me hoping he will receive it through the Merits of My ever beloved Saviour Jesus Christ and my body to the earth to be buried at the Discretion of my Executor hereafter named Nothing Doubting that I shall . . again at the general resurrection by the Mighty Power of God and as for what . . it hath pleased God to bestow upon me I give & bequeath as followeth ~

Item I give and bequeath unto my son SAMUEL HARRISON __ Shilling Sterling Money of England

Item I give and bequeath unto my son GEORGE HARRISON to him and his heirs forever part of the Town of ..brightol ~ WILLIAM ESKRIDGE joynng to his land whever I now live including the portionables provided he will pay to my son JEREMIAH HARRISON five pounds Current Money of Virginia. but if he refuseth to pay the aforesaid five pounds to the aforesaid JEREMIAH, I give & bequeath the aforesd land to my son MATHEW HARRISON & JAMES HARRISON to them & their heirs forever they paying the sd JEREMIAH HARRISON the five pounds.

Item I give & bequeath unto my son BENJAMIN HARRISON to him & his heirs forever the other part of the Land I bought of the aforesd ESKRIDGE joyning to his land where he now lives.

Item I give and bequeath unto my Grand Daughter ANN HARRISON one Calico Gown.

Item I give and bequeath unto ANN HARRISON the wife of JEREMIAH HARRISON one black Gown & .... gown & . . . my black & . . . shifts.

Item I give & bequeath all & singular the Residue of my Estate to my two sons MATHEW HARRISON & JAMES HARRISON to them & their heirs forever to be equally Divided and if either of them should Die without heir the survivor to have it all.

In witness whereof I have set my hand and Seal this Fifth day of October 1747.
