Comment:  in the census indices below, I searched on "Gr*, John," so I didn't miss any spelling of Graham, at least none that started "Gr."

Sources (n.b., Henry Co. was formed in 1822 and Madison Co. in 1823, both from the Delaware New Purchase, a.k.a., Delaware Co.):

1.  Census Index:  U.S. Selected Counties, 1820 (Broderbund CD-314):  John not found in Clermont Co., OH.

2.  Census Index:  U.S. Selected Counties, 1830 (Broderbund CD-315):  John not found in Clermont Co., OH, or Henry or Madison Co., IN.  (There is an Elisabeth GRAHAM in Batavia Twp., Clermont Co., OH, but the family composition is too far off to be our subject.)

3.  1840 Census Index and Digital Images (online at Ancestry.com; Image #1 of 4; extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):
1840 IN Henry Co. Raysville p. 144 Elizabeth Gayham 011 010 - 002 000 100
These data indicate:
No. & Sex Age Class Therefore Born Individuals Inferred
1 male 5-9 1830-1835 = John (b. 1831/2)
1 male 10-14 1825-1830 = Andrew (b. 1826/7)
1 male 20-29 1810-1820 = Henry (b. 1820)
2 females 10-14 1825-1830 = Mary (b. 1831/2)
= Sarah (b. 1824/5)
1 female 40-49 1790-1800 = Elizabeth
There is a James T. GRAYHAM in Raysville, but he is too old to be Elizabeth's son.  They are the only GRAHAMs/GRAYHAMs/etc. in the county.

4.  1850 Census Images (online at Ancestry.com; Image #161-162 of 446):  Spiceland Twp., Henry Co., IN, pp. 251A-251B, 10/10, enumerated 23-24 Jul 1850 (extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):
Henry Graham 30 M Farmer   Ohio
Mary     " 23 F     "
Cordelia "  2 F     Indiana
John     " 7/12 M     "
[next page]
Elizabeth Graham 42 F     Ohio
John        " 18 M Farmer   Ind
Andrew      " 23 M Farmer   Ohio
Sarah Coffman 25 F     "
Osker    "  4 M     Ind
Franklin "  3 M     "
Mary Graham 18 F     "
As widows are inclined to do, Elizabeth may be fibbing about her age.  The elder Mary is obviously Henry's wife, with Cordelia and John as their children.  Elizabeth's daughter, Sarah, is the divorced/deserted/widowed wife of Valentine KAUFMAN/COFFMAN, with children Oscar and Franklin.  There are other GRAHAMs in the county, but these are the only ones in Spiceland Twp.
