John GLOVER
Sarah JACKSON
NOTE:  Many secondary sources have equated this couple with John GLOVER & Sarah PASCHALL, but I'm convinced that these are different couples (see comments below).  If you have something that proves otherwise, please share it.
Husband:  John GLOVER
Birth:  ca. 1762
Marriage:  31 Jan 1785, Warren Co., NC
Wife:  Sarah "Salley" JACKSON
Birth:  ca. 1786
Children:
1.  (Son) GLOVER, b. 1785-90
2.  (Daughter) GLOVER, b. 1785-90
Keywords for search engines:  genealogy; USA, US, United States, North Carolina

Sources:

1a.  Jordan R. Dodd, ed.  1993.  North Carolina Marriages:  Early to 1850.  Liahona Research, Orem, UT (Broderbund CD-229):
Glover, John Jackson, Salley Jan 31, 1785 Warren Co.
Many secondary sources have said the bride is Sarah (PASCHALL) JACKSON, but I have found nothing to support this contention.

John GLOVER
Spouse: Betsey THOMAS
Marriage: 14 Jan 1790, Warren, North Carolina
Source: An Index to Marriage Bonds Filed in the North Carolina State Archives. North Carolina. Division of Archives and History
Is this a second marriage for the man married in 1785?

2.  1790 Census Index/Images (online at Ancestry.com; Image #6 of 16 — the list was roughly alphabetized; extracted by Diana Gale Matthiesen):
1790 NC Warren Co. Roll M637_7 p. 67 Ln. 1 Glover John 1-1-2-0-0
These data indicate:
Gender and Type Age Class Therefore Born Individuals Inferred
1 free white males 16 or over in or bef. 1774 = John
1 free white males 15 or under 1774-1790 = Son
2 free white females all ages in or bef. 1790 = Wife
= Daughter
This record is surely of the John GLOVER who was married in Warren Co., NC, five years earlier (two children are exactly what we would expect after five years of marriage).  With only two children in the household, I don't see how he can be the John GLOVER who married Sarah PASCHALL because that John GLOVER had at least four surviving children by 1790.  The only other GLOVER in Warren Co., NC, is Henery(?).
