He married Lucy Towles (b. cir. 1738) by whom he had Oliver, who moved to Mercer County, Kentucky, Elizabeth who married James Waggoner, Sarah married John Waggoner, Mary married Thomas Waggoner, Ann married Reuben Willis and Averilla who married in Orange County, January 8, 1793, William Payne... Lucy, wife of Robert Garnett, was the daughter of Stokely Towles and Ann Vallott of Middlesex County, daughter of Claude Vallott and Ann Jenkinson.
