.  United States Geological Survey.  Geographic Names Information System.  On "Williamsburg," Callaway Co., MO:
A P.O. was established here in 1824 and [was] called Fruits after Enoch Fruit, the first postmaster.  In about 1836, the P.O. moved to the home of Harvey Williams and the name changed to Williamsburg.

.  There is an Enoch Fruit on the 1819 Tax Rolls of Montgomery Co., MO  (n.b., Callaway Co. was formed from Montgomery Co. in 1820).  Other kin on this list:  Estill, Whitesides, Wyatt, Wheeler, VanBibber, Snethen, Northcut; possibly also Nash, Ramsey, Holloway, Hays, Gibson, Gray, Anderson, Benefiel, Boon(e), Davis.
