The ordering of the children makes no sense. The surnames are hard to decipher, but George and Sophia are FREND and Catharine is STROUP. In the 1880 census, George is clearly FRAND (it's a rare, but bone fide surname). Listed six households from Catharine's parents, Martin Luther STROUP & Caroline MILLER.
